What professional wine storage really controls
Temperature is only one element. Humidity, light, cleanliness, location control and operating discipline also matter.
Stability matters more than one number
Long-term storage is often reduced to temperature and humidity, but consistency is what matters most. Frequent fluctuation can create more risk than a brief deviation from a reference range.
Jiupiao uses a 12–16°C temperature range and approximately 70% relative humidity as operating references, supported by continuous monitoring and on-site management. The exact standard depends on product type, packaging and the service agreement.
What else should be controlled
- Light: reduce long-term exposure to strong light and ultraviolet radiation;
- Cleanliness: manage dust, odours, pests and contamination sources;
- Movement: avoid unnecessary handling and standardise loading operations;
- Location records: connect every bottle, order and storage position;
- Security: define staff permissions, monitoring, alerts and stock checks.
Confirm before intake
Customers should confirm quantity, external condition, packaging, duration, collection method, liability and fees. For high-value bottles, clarify whether inspection, insurance or other risk measures are included.
